Job Summary

The Technical Leader will be responsible for the design and implementation of core systems for one of our clients in the San Diego area. The selected candidate will coordinate a team of developers working out of our office in Monterrey, Mexico.

The candidate will work with the latest Microsoft technologies to satisfy the business needs of our customer. We are looking for a person with working knowledge of the full project life cycle, including feasibility analysis, project planning, UI design, coding, unit testing, system testing, and production support.

The candidate must possess knowledge, experience, skills, and ability in the following development environments, languages, and tools, and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job.

Special Skills

The candidates for this position must have the following skills:

-           At least 5 years working with the .NET Framework

-           At least 7 years working in Software Development projects

-           Experience working with C# and VB.NET

-           Experience designing and building Web Applications, Windows Forms Applications and Windows Services Applications using the .NET Framework

-           Familiar with Web Service design and implementation

-           Proficient on Web technologies such as Java Script, CSS and AJAX

-           Experience working with SQL Server, query tuning, index tuning and troubleshooting

-           Familiar with ETL concepts

-           Experience in third party systems integration (using web services, flat files or batch processes)

-           Ability to manage remote teams

-           Excellent communication skills

-           Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications

-           Strong problem solving skills undefined

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

•           Solid knowledge of relational database structures.

•           Solid knowledge of software development life cycle.

•           Experience with globalization is a plus.

•           Ability to perform analysis of documented specifications and features and accurately translate them into working code.

•           Experience with integrated development environments.

•           Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.

•           Correct usage of English grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary.

•           Ability to effectively work in team environment and with people in other departments and/or outside the corporation.

•           Understanding or past work experience with hotel systems preferred.
